In his songs he offers a wide spectrum of deep rooted blues in all its variety. The influences extend from gospel infected to jazz colored R&B and spotlight blends of music from masters like Ray Charles, Nina Simone to the Caledonian soul of Van Morrison and the raw intensity of Howlin' Wolf or Tom Waits.
The complex sonority determine acoustic flat as fingerpickings, cool electric guitar licks, biting slide sounds and a lament blues harp in front of a soft background of drums and double bass and somehow organ- and piano.
